Game won’t start. Total dissapointment and a waste of money

I was incredibly excited to finally play the 3rd installment of Bioshock. But for some reason the game won’t launch, regardless of what I do.
Don’t waste your money here, folks, or you’ll end up very frustrated like me. Apple seriously needs to sort this out because this is not acceptable.
